SAFE Credit Union Convention Center - Sacramento Event Guide

Venue Information

The SAFE Credit Union Convention Center, located in the heart of Sacramento, is a premier venue known for hosting a diverse range of events, from concerts to conventions. Opened in 1974, this facility has undergone several renovations to enhance the experience for attendees and performers alike. With a seating capacity of over 15,000, it is one of the largest venues in the region.

Throughout the year, the convention center hosts numerous events, including trade shows, sporting events, and live performances. The venue's calendar is packed with activities that cater to various interests, ensuring that there is always something happening. Ticket prices vary significantly depending on the event type; for instance, concerts may range from $50 to $200, while conventions might have entry fees starting at $20.

Positive reviews highlight the venue's excellent acoustics and sightlines, making it a favorite among both performers and audiences. The center also offers various amenities such as food concessions and merchandise stands, enhancing the overall experience for visitors.

Seating Information

The seating arrangement at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center is designed to provide optimal viewing experiences for all attendees. The best sections are typically located in the lower bowl area, particularly sections 101-104 and 201-204. These sections offer unobstructed views of the stage and are closest to the action.

Conversely, the upper levels can be less desirable due to their distance from the stage. Sections in the upper bowl may not provide the same level of engagement as those closer to the floor. However, they can be more affordable options for budget-conscious attendees.

Parking Information

Parking options around the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center are plentiful but can vary in convenience and pricing. The best parking option is the Sacramento Convention Center Garage, located at 1400 J St, Sacramento, CA 95814. This garage offers secure parking at a rate of approximately $15 per day.

Additionally, there are several surface lots nearby that provide alternative parking solutions; however, these can fill up quickly during major events. It is advisable to arrive early or consider public transportation if attending a high-demand event. Visitors should avoid parking in areas that are not designated for event attendees to prevent potential towing.
